As we all know, text messages are not easy to be moved from an Android phone to your computer. Not like photos, musics and videos which can be copied from phone to PC via USB cable, the easy way to get SMS transferred is rely on a third-party app such as Gihosoft Mobile Transfer.

- Step 1. Go to Gihosoft official site and download SMS Backup & Restore app.
- Step 2. Open the app and tap “Backup Your Phone” to create a backup for SMS on your Android phone.
- Step 3. Use USB cable to connect your Android phone to the computer.
- Step 4. When your phone is connected successfully, please mark "SMS" you need.
- Step 5. Click on "Start Copy" to transfer text messages from Android to computer.
Generally, Android SMS that you transfer to PC are saved as HTML file, which allows you easily view or print text messages on your browser.
